On Friday, Jan. 20, at 11:30 a.m., Mayor Jan van Zanen of The Hague will officially kick off the renovation at 55 Westvlietweg. Since September 2022, Max Health Club has been operating as a gym at this location. The former home of Westvliet Family Sports & Health Club is now undergoing major renovations to transform the location into a luxury gym with new, large gym and studios plus a pool with extensive wellness facilities. During the renovation, sports can continue in several areas, because in addition to a fitness club where personal training plays an important role, more than seventy group classes are also offered weekly and there are 9 squash courts.

At the opening, owners Jacco Helmink and Niels Renes will once again present the plans to the mayor. It will be an enlarged copy of the first Max Health Club at Klein Zwitserland sports park. Jan. 20 will not only be a toast to a more vital start with a new club in the Hague and Leidschendam/Voorburg area, but there will also be room for questions for the new owners.
